PHYSICAL APPEARANCE

In the first unit of the year, we are talking about our appearance. We know how to describe ourselves and how to describe the others. But, how important is physical appearance to you?

IS PHYSICAL APPEARANCE IMPORTANT FOR YOU?

At the Perfect Centre in Perfect-land, students have asked some questions about how important physical appearance is for them. Here we have some of their opinions.

Susan, 13 years old – I think physical appearance is everything. If you are not beautiful, nobody will love you. I want to have a tall boyfriend with blue eyes and fair hair!

Mike, 12 years old – For me, physical appearance is important when getting a job. If you don’t look good, they won’t give you the job.

John, 14 years old – I don’t think physical appearance is so important. I prefer being with an intelligent person! I don’t think being handsome is the perfect solution.

Sam, 11 years old – What is the point in being beautiful if your head is empty? Look at models! It is unfair to get so much money just for being pretty!

The results were amazing because half of the kids think that physical appearance is important and the other half think totally the opposite thing! Can you believe it!
